WHAT IS MEDITATION?
Meditation isn’t about being present in the moment
It’s about training in awareness and getting a healthy sense of perspective. You’re not trying to turn off your thoughts or feelings. You’re learning to observe them without judgment. And eventually, you may start to better understand them as well.
An hour of Yoga Nidra can be as restorative as four hours of regular sleep, how amazing is that!
There are several stages of Yoga Nidra:
Stage 1: Bringing relaxation, a calm mind while the body feels heavy and deeply relaxed.
Stage 2: Brings an inner stillness as relaxation progresses further.
Stage 3: Slowly brings that interval between being awake and asleep, remaining alert and aware with a spacious, timeless feeling that is extremely peaceful while your mind and body sleep.
